About This Project

Continente is one of the major retail brands in Portugal and has numerous stores in the country, including Continente hypermarkets, Continente Modelo supermarkets and Continente Bom Dia convenience stores.

Some of these stores are equipped with public address and voice evacuation systems manufactured by LDA Audio Tech.

The Tarouca, Pinheiro da Bemposta, São Pedro da Cova and Fajões Continente Bom Dia stores are equipped with ONE systems, which have double certification: EN 54-16 for voice alarm and indicator equipment and EN 54-4 for its integrated battery. The installation has been developed with the local partners EET Portugal and MGB Security Safe.

The ONE-500 unit is complemented by MPS-8Z microphone desks for live voice messages with public address functions in the supermarket and also the launching of pre-recorded messages in evacuation functions.

ONE is ideal for small format systems in commercial establishments, as it is very easy to install and maintain, it is compact and can be rack or wall mounted, depending on space availability and needs in each location. Its functions are extended thanks to accessories such as the ONE-PTT handheld microphone, the VAP-1 voice alarm panel, A-1 microphones or the ONE-LOOP modules that allow several units to be interconnected to create unified systems of up to 60 zones.

Thanks to its double certification EN 54-16 and EN 54-4, ONE helps to comply with the current Portuguese regulations on fire safety and voice evacuation systems in public spaces.

With a small investment, any store can exponentially improve not only its customers’ shopping experience but also their safety in case of an emergency.
