About This Project

The Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (FHB) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, has expanded its facilities with a second terminal for domestic flights.

Terminal 2 is equipped with EN 54 public address and voice evacuation systems manufactured by LDA Audio Tech.

The installation consists of 16 different audio zones. Public address announcements and evacuation management in case of emergency are provided by a NEO system consisting of a NEO-8060 main controller and a NEO-8250E extension.

It has MPS-8Z microphones with MPS-8K extensions and RCD-21 multimedia players.

The project was carried out by the installer Audio Video Solution (AVS) for the public company AERIA.

Terminal 2 has a capacity for 5 million passengers per year and 55,000 square meters of floor space, including a 2,400-space parking lot, 8 walkways connecting to Terminal 1 and 4 baggage carousels.
