ABC Serrano Shopping Center

About This Project

The ABC Serrano shopping center, one of the most unique venues in Madrid, has an EN 54 certified public address and voice evacuation system based on LDA Audio Tech’s NEO technology.

Located in the heart of Madrid’s Golden Mile, ABC Serrano stands out for its historic architecture and its fusion of tradition and modernity. This place houses a careful selection of stores and services, so it required a solution that offered high intelligibility, clean design and regulatory compliance.

Equipment from the NEO range was installed, with a NEO 8060 controller and two NEO 8250 and NEO 4500 extensions. MPS-8Z multizone microphones were also integrated with MPS-8K expansion modules for versatile zone management.

Thanks to its EN 54-16 certification, NEO helps to comply with the current Spanish regulations on fire safety and voice evacuation systems in public spaces.

The project also includes more than 250 EN 54-24 certified loudspeakers distributed throughout the venue: PCM-20TN vandal-resistant cylindrical projectors, CH-32TN and CH-42TN ceiling loudspeakers, DS-60TN surface models and VTX-15TN anti-vandal directive loudspeakers.

The shopping center has a robust, efficient and emergency-ready system. The installation complies with European security standards and provides a reliable public address and voice alarm solution to deal with any contingency.
