In an industry as demanding as the design and manufacture of audio electronics—especially in public address and voice evacuation systems—innovation is not optional, but a strategic necessity. At LDA Audio Tech we understand this, and that is why we allocate 10% of our annual turnover to research and development (R&D).
This figure puts us above average and responds to a real commitment to remain at the forefront of technology.
According to the Ayming Institute’s International Innovation Barometer 2025, the average company budget for R&D is 6.6%. Only one-fifth of them devote 10% or more to this purpose.
Thanks to the accumulated innovation and knowledge, at LDA we achieve:
- Develop our own products 100% Made in Spain.
- Integrate new functionalities into our systems to make them increasingly reliable, secure and integrable. A good example of this is the development of the EVAC Cloud platform to remotely monitor and configure our public address and voice alarm systems in a certified and secure environment.
- Designing new solutions that reduce energy consumption, optimize public address installations and improve the user experience and people’s safety.
- Actively participating in international technical standardization committees, such as those in charge of revising the EN 54 standard or national UNE standards.

Within the technology sector, industrial electronics manufacturers spend between 5% and 8% of their annual sales on research and development. The companies that are committed to leading the market move in a higher range, depending on their size and objectives.
