Medicana Sarajevo Hospital

LDA Audio Tech has supplied an EN 54-certified public address and voice evacuation system for the new Medicana Sarajevo Hospital, ensuring clear and reliable communication throughout all areas and enhancing the safety of patients and staff.

Located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Medicana Sarajevo is the first investment of Medicana Health Group in the country. With ten operating romos, including specialized ophthalmology and endoscopy suites, and a multidisciplinary approach covering specialties from pediatrics to thoracic surgery and neurosurgery, the hospital requires a robust, reliable, and adaptable PA/VA system to manage critical situations.

For this project, LDA installed a complete NEO system, consisting of the NEO-8060 central controller and the NEO-8250 extension unit to cover the entire hospital. The MPS-8Z multi-zone microphone and its MPS-8K extension keypad enable targeted announcements to specific areas, while TFL-2 line terminators ensure signal continuity and quality. The system is complemented by CH-42 ceiling loudspeakers and RCD-21R players for background music and other audio sources.

This installation provides full hospital coverage, seamless integration with security and control systems, high reliability and redundancy, and the flexibility to accommodate future expansions without infrastructure changes.
