The Vitelliusbad in Wittlich, a modern aquatic center combining an indoor pool, outdoor pool, leisure areas, and event spaces, relies on LDA Audio Tech’s EN54 voice alarm and public address technology to ensure safety and a high-quality sound experience throughout the facility. This project, developed by our partner Gräf & Meyer, demonstrates how our strategic alliance enables us to offer solutions tailored to the central European market.

Opened in June 2025, the Vitelliusbad Wittlich has become a regional benchmark for its innovative architecture and size: 4,745 m² of floor space, 22,937 m³ of volume, and 1,441 m² of water surface. Its design with a retractable roof and open outdoor areas required a flexible, accurate, and reliable audio solution capable of always providing voice intelligibility and safe evacuation.

An LDA NEO system was installed for this project, with a NEO-8060 main controller and NEO Extension NEO-8250 and NEO-4500, adapted to the specific characteristics of the building. Thanks to advanced acoustic simulations, uniform coverage and optimal voice clarity were achieved both indoors and outdoors. The system was also integrated into the mobile roof structure, a technical challenge that required meticulous planning and precise adjustments.

The outdoor relaxation and lawn area (Liegewiese) has a high-performance ambient public address system to provide clear sound in open spaces. The entire system complies with EN54 standards, ensuring that, in the event of an emergency, voice evacuation is clear, immediate, and reliable.
