Über dieses Projekt

The Malaga Metro started operating in 2014, ten years after the launch of the project as one of the largest public works in Andalusia. This network required an advanced public address and voice evacuation alarm system that was both highly flexible, to cover all stations, and robust, to ensure safety in any emergency.

The public company chose LDA Audio Tech to supply these systems, which were installed throughout the entire metro network covering a central station and 17 stations with 3 different zones in each (interior, hall and platform).

The result is a complex 52-zone system, fully controlled and monitored from the central unit using LDA SIME software and audio over Ethernet on a dedicated VLAN.

Stations in operation between 2014 and 2023 are equipped with LDA Sonora systems, integrated with Renkus-Heinz steerable beam array loudspeakers.

In 2023, Metro de Málaga opens two new stations that reach the city center and represent a major step forward for urban mobility in the capital of the Costa del Sol.

The Guadalmedina and Atarazanas stations are equipped with LDA NEO systems connected to the control center via SIME software and integrated into Metro’s management platform.

Both the old and new stations are equipped with EN 54-24 certified loudspeakers manufactured by LDA and Renkus-Heinz (Iconyx series on platforms and IC7 and DC12 series in halls).
