Expo 2023 Doha Qatar

The Expo 2023 Doha Qatar venue is equipped with EN-54 certified public address and voice evacuation systems manufactured by LDA Audio Tech.

The LDA installation covers an area of 150,000 m², intended for the reception of international participants.

After studying the characteristics of the venue, which is large and very demanding in terms of acoustics, a NEO system was chosen, consisting of a NEO-8060 main unit and two NEO-4500E extensions, plus several TFL-2 end-of-line devices for line supervision.

LDA’s proprietary SIME Control software installed at the Expo allows centralized management of the entire system, including volume control, routing of audio sources, and zone distribution, as well as emergency functions.

The project is enhanced by the installation of LDA acoustic columns certified under the EN 54-24 standard.

The installation provides high-quality audio for background music and public address announcements and reliable and fast equipment to operate in case of an emergency evacuation.

Expo 2023 Doha Qatar is being held in Al Bidda Park, with more than 1,700,000 m² in the city center, and is expected to attract 3 million visitors during almost six months of activities.

Expo 2023 is the first international horticulture exhibition to be held in a country with a desert climate. It will address issues related to crop innovation, sustainability, and new techniques for reducing water use and soil health.
