Über dieses Projekt

Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport has an LDA public address and voice alarm system based on NEO+. At its core are two NEO+ 8060 controllers and thirteen NEO+ 4250E and 4500E amplifier extensions.

Two VAP-1 voice alarm panels let staff check system status, make live announcements and trigger alert or evacuation messages. VAP-8K keypads allow operators to select configured zones. Eleven NEXO converters carry AES67 audio and connect ACSI v2 bus devices over IP networks.

System management is handled through SIME Control, which centralises system control, audio routing and emergency functions. The automatic gain control module, working with the measurement microphones, can adjust zone levels according to the ambient noise detected.

Nearly 200 loudspeakers in five formats make up the system: CH-62TN ceiling speakers, VTX-60TN vandal-resistant speakers, PCM-20TN cylindrical projectors, DS-60TN surface-mount speakers and PS-30TN horn loudspeakers. This combination supports sound distribution across areas with different acoustic and installation requirements.

Thanks to its EN 54-16 certification, NEO+ helps meet current Spanish regulations on fire safety and voice alarm systems in public spaces.

Located in the Vega del Genil area, 17 kilometres from Granada and 106 kilometres from Jaén, the Federico García Loca airport handled more than 1.15 million passengers in 2025.
