L’Olleria tunnel

The Olleria II tunnel was built to pass through the Valencian Sierra Grossa located on the Canals – Agullent highway. This is a road with a high traffic flow due to the great industrial activity existing in the regions of La Costera and Valle de Albaida.

The tunnel is provided with public address and voice evacuation systems made by LDA Audio Tech. The reverberation time in a tunnel is usually long and therefore it was decided to use a metallic anti-vandal sound point, with a high directionality factor, to obtain optimal intelligibility values inside the tunnel.

This is vital to ensure maximum security in emergency situations, where users must clearly understand evacuation orders. The system also includes controllable equalization from a computer to filter the audio signal appropriately.
