This way, the products continue to comply with all the requirements the European Union sets for fire detection and voice alarm systems.<\/p>\n

This renewal comes after a new follow-up audit<\/strong> for the NEO\u00a08060 main unit and its NEO\u00a08250E, NEO\u00a04250E, NEO\u00a04500E and NEO\u00a04500LE extensions, carried out by the Certiberia Europe Solutions quality laboratory.<\/p>\n

The numbered certificate 2426-CPR-076<\/strong> guarantees that the NEO\u00a08060 system<\/a> complies with the European EN\u00a054-16 standard for fire detection and alarm equipment. The 2426-CPR-105<\/strong> certificate also applies to the NEO central unit working together with any of its extensions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The parameters analysed<\/strong> by the certifying entity include performance under fire condition, response time to fire<\/strong>, operational reliability<\/strong> and resistance to temperature, humidity, electrical stability and vibration. The implemented options are also tested: audible warnings<\/strong>, manual control, redundant amplifiers, emergency microphones<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n

The EN 54 series<\/a> of European standards for detection systems, fire alarm and voice evacuation<\/strong> covers three different groups: for central voice alarm control (EN\u00a054-16), for loudspeakers (EN\u00a054-24) and for power supply audio equipment (EN\u00a054-4).<\/p>\n

Thanks to its high quality demands<\/strong> and its ability to cover every safety aspect to have in mind in case of emergency, the EN\u00a054 criteria has been adopted in many non-EU countries<\/strong> as a de facto<\/em> standard for its facilities.<\/p>\n
