This shopping centre located in San Sebasti\u00e1n de los Reyes (Madrid) has two floors, almost 200 stores and a 35-meter-high dome. It has a public address and voice evacuation installation made by LDA and adapted to EN54 standards with advanced functionalities.<\/p>\n

The renovation of the public address system was carried out with the integrator Cad&Lan<\/a> after an acoustic study with special features for its characteristic dome.<\/p>\n

Thanks to LDA Audio Tech systems, the centre managed to reduce the energy cost of its public address system by 70 %.<\/p>\n

The project designed by Cad&Lan and LDA is based on a total renovation of control equipment, power amplifiers and speakers, to face the growing demands of the venue.<\/p>\n

Thus, Plaza Norte 2 adapted the whole installation to the latest Spanish regulations on voice evacuation for public areas. It also significantly improved the intelligibility of its public address and background music messages, reduced the space dedicated to the equipment (from four racks to two) and integrated the PA system into its latest-generation IP network.<\/p>\n

Operation is simple and intuitive for the user, with advanced functionalities that allow complete management of pre-recorded messages and real-time alerts by zones.<\/p>\n

In Plaza Norte 2<\/a> a NEO-8060<\/a> unit was installed with 7 NEO Extension 8250 and 4500 units, a VAP-1 alarm panel<\/a>, an MPS-8Z multizone microphone<\/a> with an MPS-8K expansion keyboard<\/a>, an RCD-21R multimedia player<\/a> and several racks, batteries and chargers.<\/p>\n
