The Seville Metro is a\u00a0network\u00a0that serves the Andalusian city of Seville (Spain) and its metropolitan area. It currently consists of an operational line, inaugurated on April 2, 2009, which has a total of 22 stations spread across four municipal areas of the metropolitan area. With a length of 18 km and 22 stations, it is the fifth red in Spain in terms of number of passengers and kilometers operated, with a cumulative total of 90 million passengers transported in 2015. The rolling stock of the Seville Metro is composed of a fleet of 21 CAF Urbos 2 of 31 meters in length and in which can fit up to 202 passengers (145 standing and 57 seated), although it allows coupling additional modules to increase its capacity. The maximum speed of circulation is 70 km per hour. The Seville Metro was the sixth to be inaugurated in Spain,\u00a0after Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Palma de Mallorca.\u00a0Seville Metro has EN-54 certified public address and voice evacuation systems in its facilities.<\/p>\n
